Our Story

A tradition rooted in

When Sans Souci opened its doors on Morningside Drive in 1983, the vision was simple: bake honest bread the old-fashioned way and create a welcoming space where neighbors become friends.

Today, that commitment hasn't changed. Our bakers arrive before dawn to hand-shape each loaf, let every batch proof slowly, and bake in small quantities so you always get the freshest product. From our signature sourdough to seasonal fruit tarts, everything on our shelves is made in-house.
